A glimpse of a manikins ass + I got myself in real trouble!

Oh my god. Yesterday was crazy, in many ways!

Summary: Woke up, went shopping with Nadia, met up with Fredrik & Kim-Kim and had brunch together. Went with Nadia to Carrefour and bought a computer desk and some other stuff, but were then STOPPED by the border police! After this I started building my desk and then we went bowling, a big gang (10+) of us. We finished off with some food and drinks at Pussers and then Im not sure when I actually got to bed, like 03:30 or something.


Shopping & The Border Police
A couple of minutes after 12:00, Nadia rang my door and tried to sober up by drinking a coconut Coffée. Then we went looking for girly things, which made me feel a little bit... unstraight... or what's the word for it... crooked?

All of a sudden, while talking about Nadia eating babies when she is hungry, Fredrik and Kim-Kim showed up in the middle of Main Street! We decided to go to Lord Nelsons and eat some fucking brunch - And the fucking brunch was fabulously magnificent!

Off to Spain it is! Walking past with only my ID, which went totally fine. Took a taxi to Carrefour and found ourselves some things we wanted there. We actually managed to find the EXACT desk that I wanted and as a bonus Nadia managed to find us some straapwafels.

STOP YOU COÑO! No, the border guard/police/whatever/fuckyou/Ijustcantrememberwhatit'scalledokay? stopped me after realizing that my ID didn't state nationality, cause apparently where I got it they didn't think this was useful information. Wtf...

I was stuck there for over two hours before the hero of the day, Anke, came to the rescue with my passport, that she managed to retrieve after climbing in to my flat from the outside (yes, she is actually spiderman). I got home, ALIVE!

Bowling & Dinner
Okay, why do we keep inviting Henrik to these bowling nights? We should at least cut off his hand and replace it with a hook, like in the movie. I played very mediokerly today, but Filipe, Henrik, Annika and Tatsu kicked royal butt! Off course Vali did great too (although getting beaten by his girlfriend).

After this we all went to Pussers Landing for some puss... food. As usual I took the fantastic Ceasar Salad and decided to boost it with a Painkiller drink. This was not a good idea, as the painkiller tasted like ASS after eating the salad. Not a good taste combination.

We had lots of fun and I managed to get home alive... again (this time refering to the painkiller drink. Andreas know's all about that drink, doesn't he?).


Poker table + Helping Simeon move today!
Today I will be helping Simeon to move and as a thanks he will drive my newly purchased Poker Table and Chip Case to my place. Good deal. Will get back to you later how this went and if I again will be raped somehow by the border whatever.

STEAK for the men! + Getting some Pussers tonight!

I had a great time yesterday. First we went to Gauchos for the steak and after that we mingled away to O'Reillys where we met up with Daniel and Jonas on the way. It was great, but I didnt stay for long as I had felt the urge to play some Assassins Creed 2 before I went to bed ;)


Women, fuck off - NO steak for you!
Yesterday Michael, Marcus, Henrik, Simeon and Tatsu went to Gauchos for some manly steak and beers. It was really really good and I had the medium rare Entrecoté. This was a men-only night btw, have no idea how Simeon made it in there.

Simeon (or Simone from now on?) was such a girl and was like "mister mister, my steak is to raw, I have to think about my soft skin and my beautiful set of hair, and too rare steaks are bad for that!". My god, get some balls and eat it raw!

Can't wait 'til I get a taste of...
... Ceasar Salad at Pussers Landing tonight. Me, Henrik, Anke, Fredrik & Kim-Kim are going there to introduce the latter two to the marvelous Ceasar Salad that they serve. Afterwars we might go to Valis birthday party I'm not sure, but I'm sure I will have fun tonight!

Yesterday's "tea"... party!
It was really great! Drank lots of "tea"! :) I was hanging out with Quisqueya, Philip, Anke, Melvin and Michael (among others). It was actually one of the better parties I've been to for a while now. :)


Tonights stake night - for men only!
Tonight we guys will go to a place in town to eat real stake, for real men. Of course this means Michael can't come, but we will send him a postcard.


No Ikea :(
Apparently, they don't let Swedish people in, 'cause then they will have to sell them. No, but Fredrik and Kim-Kim want to wait until they can buy the special little sofa-piece that they want. I will instead go shopping in La Linea this saturday, hopefully the computer table as well as some clothes.

Buying furniture
This weekend we are probably renting a car to go to Malaga, looking for stuff for the apartment and some other things. I think it will be great if we go there. Might find some cool restaurant to try out as well. Will make sure you get pictures and maybe a little movie from the trip!


Some people just don't give a crap
I think people saying that they are your friend can be the ones that stabs you the hardest where it hurts the most. Sometimes I wonder if they really care at all how other people feel. Do they ever picture themselves in another persons position? Wondering how that person might feel? That's what friends do, but I guess they are not really a friend if they cannot do that.

I'm pretty pissed atm. This is NOT how you treat a friend.

The worst thing is as soon as something becomes a little bit tough, it always seems easiest to crawl under a rock and pretend everything is alright. Very mature. Grow up, face the problems in your life.

It'sa me, a'mario! + Viewed Fredrik & Kim-Kims apartment!

Hi everyone! Yet another Sunday, the weekend goes by fast I think. Yesterday I played Assassins Creed 2 almost the whole day, then I went to Fredrik and Kim-Kim's place which looks great! They very far more lucky with their apartment than us!


Assassins Creed 2 - Blackout wtf?!
This game is really fun, and twice as fun as it's predecessor too! I think I played at least 1/3 of the game, or maybe even more. Maybe half.

One fun thing that struck me was after the first part of the game, this character comes up to me and says: "It'sa me, a'Mario!", and apparently it's the main characters uncle. I almost pissed myself laughing. :P Funniest easter-egg ever!

But later in the evening when I was in a cut-scene with Leonardo Da'Vinci the power of the whole block went out. Ocean Village BLACK!

OMG! I just need to mention that while I'm writing this blog post I had Assassins Creed 2 on in the background and suddenly the most kick ass trailer appeared that actually was non-animated. It was really kick-ass. I recommend anyone to watch it!


Fredrik & Kim-Kim's place

Hey! I bought a Playstation 3 + 2 games!

Today I have done a lot of good worked and also bought myself a PS3, which makes me feel very satisfied with myself.

Tonight I will plug in my baby and then I will go out with Henrik and his friends. Will also check if some others want to join.

On Monday I will go to Alvia's place and make sure her place is cat-proof. 'cause we are going to steal a cat for her.


Playstation 3 250gb + 2 controls and HDMI
I got my stuff now and am very excited to get started. So gaming nights will be at my place in the future (every month I will buy new games too btw).


Assassins Creed 2 + Unsharted 2... + NHL09!
I bought the first two games in the title and the third one I already had. NHL09 is the game for February though, as Hockey Olympics starts and when I cant watch the games, I'm going to play hockey just so that the Swedish hockey team will do better at their next game... never mind it's a spiritual thing, you wouldn't understand if you are not from Sweden... or my head.

Party yesterday + Pictures I promised!

Hi everyone! Was partying yesterday with some of my friends from the office and it was great. (yeah like you never heard that one before). We were first at Pusser's Landing (which I got a lot of funny comments about from my friends, lol) . Then we went to O'Reillys and had even more fun.

Ok, I have no idea how what it actually is that "lands" on this place, but we are going there tonight to eat Ceasar Salad... I think!?

Hockey Olympics at my place!
We will be viewing streamed hockey Olympics games at my place in February. I found I way to get it streamed through the TV so it will be great! Can't wait!

Enchiladas en la master!
Okay, this time I really did the Enchiladas of the century. I used the bolognese left over from the day before and made enchiladas from them (adding appropriate spices and tomato sauce + cheese and stuff) and made these babies -->

Kai was quite surprised I could cook :P Took that as a compliment :)


Gym later this week, want to join?
Later this week I'm going to get my ass back to the gym and start working out 3 times a week again. Maybe ill do badminton once a week and gym twice. Will be great getting back into shape! I feel I've gotten a bit too chubby now of all chocolate cookies people give me ;)

It's saturday evening and I feel like I've been drinking too much whiskey and some weird shit Johannes gave me (concleberry juice or something). Just have a look at me, I just took this picture and I cant manage to get a proper one... I guess I'm just to tired/wasted.


My special bolognese to Kai!
Today I decided to cook for my flat mate Kai. He was so hung over and had lost parts of his voice, so I cooked him my special bolognese meal. Although I overcooked the pasta a bit (cause I used fresh pasta which I'm not use to really) and made a really nice bolognese which could have used a bit more salt. Haha I never get satisfied do I? :P

Anyway, here is how it looked! (sorry for not including the pasta but it would have f*ked up the wonderful look of my beautiful bolognese.)


Happy birthday Filipe!
This party was really great. I had a great time and was (and still are) in a great partymood. I drank a lot tonight and had some really intelligent conversations (as always when you are drinking). I got to know some of the CS-people I hadn't really talked to much before and the spanish chick was surprisingly nice to talk to for instance.

Btw, the party was great this Friday. I had a great time and really enjoyed it, although it was very crowded and I got tired really quickly (cause I hadn't slept very much the night before... or the night after, so I don't really understand why I'm so alert right now).

I had some interesting talks with my team leader Kai (not the one I'm living with), Stefan and Lutz. I think it's good getting to know your superiors, 'cause they are people too.

I saw Avatar! + Coolest Team Photo ever!

Yesterday was a really good day. I was in a great mood all day. Today I'm still in a good mood, although Kai and I realised the whole contract from Find a Property is just a mess.


Avatar - The movie of the year
This is officially the best movie I've seen this year, and maybe last year too. The environment, the story, the everything! The complete Avatar universe is amazing. The only thing was that it was a little clichee with the "meet a girl, that apparently was the princess just by random blablabla" but all the other things made up for that.

If you haven't seen this movie, DO IT! I'm going to check out if the game is good now, will get back to you on that once I've read more about it.


The Swedish PokerStrategy.com Team
Yesterday our new Community Manager, and my friend, Fredrik introduced himself to the community. Nadia took a kick-ass photograph of us, with Fredrik in focus, and I accidently while trying to take away some of the blur, made the photograph really cool. Have a look!

My flat - Some updates
Well at least now they have fixed some stuff, but the shower is still leaking and the air conditioning is still malfunctioning. BUT Kai managed to get our internet up from 0.3mbit to around 2mbit, which is what we are paying for.

About the contract issues with Find a Problem: Nothing is correct. According to the contract we are living in a different building and are suppose to pay the rent for the guy on the floor beneath us. WTF?

The weirdest day...

Today is perhaps not the best of days, even though one of my problems is now solved. Fredrik have had his second day at work and have gotten his workstation in between me and Henrik (see picture).

Today I almost messed up 3 hours of work, I had a waiting committee and it also now started to rain again. :(

But! My former agent, Natalia (NOT Find a Property) has been very sweet and I have decided to market her on my blog. Also, there has been a purchase of one Tamagochi to Melvin, the hero of the day!


The hero of the day competition
Today three heroic guys competed about being my hero of the day. Michael wanted to help me find a good cable for the tv, which he did with help from another influence. Then Simeon surprised me by actually going and looking for a cable for me, which was pretty nice of him. Although too late as Michael beat him to it. Then he didn't invite me to his honeymoon with Michael which gave him a lot of minus points.

The winner is Melvin, who showed me how to recover a file that I had been working on for 3 hours, that I thought I lost! His prize was a Tamagochi and two muffins! Enjoy it mate! You earned it!


A waiting committee?
When I went home to let the cleaning lady in I was surprised by two repairmen and Helen waiting for me there as well (actually I knew about Helen), so my place was crowded with people wanting to fix stuff in my apartment ;) You can imagine how many things actually wasn't how they were suppose to be.

Natalia Schilling is an estate agent in Gibraltar area that is really good at doing her work. She previously helped me trying to find a place, and everything went very fast and smooth. Due to problems that neither her or I could help, I had to check with another agency as well, which in the end was the agency whom got me the flat.

Although she managed to impressively get my friends Fredrik and Kim-Kim a place within 24 hours from when they contacted her - for a good price too!

They made me shave my beard... + Baking day!

This morning when I realised what I had done, I almost wanted to cry. I miss my manly beard :(. But it's 0k I guess it looks fine. Well someone did laugh her ass off yesterday when seeing my babyface, but what can I do. They say it looks better, so I guess I'll just have to trust them.


I am Dr. No Beard
Yesterday when Fredrik, Kim-Kim, Andra, Nadia, Michael and I baked stuff, Michael suddenly surprised me with a comment about my beard. It all led to a vote, and everyone voted for me to shave it all off :O. So I cried a bit inside and then I did it.

I think I was blushing like a little girl for like 1-2 hours, but it feels better now. Thank god my friends are so supportive in a time of crisis.

Well I guess I have to life with the fact that I look less straight even though I look more "clean" now. Now I don't look like a dirty nerd anymore! :)


Bakin' Lussebuns an' some brown shit
Yesterday we had a really great time baking stuff like the Swedish specail x-mas buns called Lussekatt / Lussebulle as well as some really tasty brown thing that Andra made for us. I kind of first messed up the buns, but I saved it by just having the error of not having anough Safran in it. But I think they taste quite alright to be the first thing I've baked for years :)

Today is Fredriks first day!
Fredrik is having his first day today and so far its going well! I'm going to try to snatch him for a photograph for my blog post and hopefully he will obey my commands.

Dinner and Sherlock Holmes!

Yesterday I went with some of my friends in Gibraltar to have some dinner at Lord Nelsons and then we went to the cinema to finally see Sherlock Holmes, which was surprisingly good.

Earlier that day, I went shopping for some stuff I needed, and while I was looking for some cleaning things, I saw this funny brand:


Food mediocre, company great!
The food I ordered wasnt the tastiest, but the Ceasar Salad looked great. Should have taken that instead of what I had (some cheesy fish with chips). Gah, I had decided to be more healthy and yet I go for the cheesy alternative :P

The company was great though, had a great time there and made some new friends! ;)


Sherlock Holmes was fantastic!
I think this is one of the greatest movies I've seen in a very long while. When I first saw the trailer I expected it to be crap, but now when I've seen it. Oh my god, it was truly really good.

I recommend anyone to see this movie. Robert Downey Junior was unbelievably great. As Richard and I said, it was not Robert Downey Jr you saw, it was Sherlock Holmes.


Lussekatt - Todays theme!
Today I, Andra, Michael, Nadia, Fredrik and Kim-Kim will bake Lussekatter, which is like Lusse Cats in english, but you wont know what that is probably, so I'll just let you see the results in tomorrows blog post!

Find a Problem - See pics of the "real" flat!

Hi everyone! I'm back! Yesterday I did a massive shopping as well as unpacking and fixing some stuff in the new/real apartment.


Use another agency
How we got to move from the first place to the other though, was because of a big mistake by Find a Property here in Gib. They not only gave us the wrong keys, twice, they let us move into the wrong apartment, someone else future home. They also wrote the contract wrong so the figures were about £350 higher than what we agreed on.

Do NOT use Find a Property when getting a place to stay in Gibraltar. Nothing goes right and they never call you back even though they say so. Also they did not handle their own mistakes very well and should really work on their internal communication.

Met Fredrik and Kim-Kim for dinner! + Apartment troubles...

I wont go into details, as I'm trying to be nice here, but things haven't gone really good with the apartment thing, and I will tell you why in a bit.

Yesterday we were eating out at Ipanemas with Fredrik and Kim-Kim, so nice to see them again! Nadia and Henrik joined us!

Trouble with apartments
Well, for this post I will keep it short, but if it "gets worse" I will tell the whole story for you. Lets just say I had some apartment troubles, several times and things were not handled very well from another party.

If everything works out fine I will move into the new apartment within the week. Tomorrow I will provide you all with pictures of it.

Let's say that I don't really like to argue with people, but I always think that right should be right, whatever the case is.
