Resumé
You have stumbled upon a human male, average height, weight and with blue-green eyes. This individual has a passion: work. Not working as in lifting things, filling in some boring papers. This guy wants to make a difference, change something. Create something!
Okay, let's take a deep breath, calm down and get to the damn point, shall we?
My name is Joakim Bergman and I'm from Sweden. I write and speak both English and Swedish fluently and I'm trying to pick up bits and parts other languages when I get the chance. I have worked with many areas of the digital world and will hopefully get the opportunity to add even more areas to my list of previous work experiences - that's where you come in.
You, my friend, are reading this most probably because you are considering hiring me - or - referring me to a company that awards you for doing them this favor. Hopefully I will be able to convince you that I'm the best investment you ever made. If not, feel free to move on and find someone less good for the job.
What are my experiences then? Well, I've studied three years of Game Design at the University of Skövde in Sweden. I have worked for nearly 5 years at a non-profit based website called Gamingeye - that flatteringly had trouble staying alive after I left. Worked for 5 months as a Community & Marketing Manager on Lockpick Entertainment, a MMO Game Developer, writing my bachelors degree project simultaneously. After that, I moved onto PokerStrategy.com, where I worked as a Community Manager. My tasked involved PR, Marketing, Forum Management, Editorial Management, Educational Management, Layout & User Friendliness, Staff Management, Video Editing, Graphics Design, Blogging and much more. PokerStrategy.com was for me a gold mine of experiences. I even got to lead global KPI-optimization projects or be a part of the induction program of the company, in several areas.
My name is Joakim Bergman and I am ready for new opportunities. Will you be able to handle me?

Portfolio

In my portfolio I will only list things that I can physically show, or explain with a few words. If it is not listed, it does not mean it doesn't exist. One website is taken down and some material is still classified. I will state only a few examples below. If you want to know more, contact me through the email address above.
